Coming Up in May: Another Public Screening of “Cuba, Libre?”

Cuba Libre Novato Theater“Cuba, Libre?,”the documentary film that traces the history of travel to Cuba by Americans from the early decades of the 20th century to the present, will be shown at Studio46 in Novato, California from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th to raise funds for restoration of the historic downtown Novato Theater.

Seating is limited to 75 and the event will probably sell out.

This will be the film’s sixth screening in the San Francisco Bay Area.

“Cuba, Libre?” was screened at the Visual Radio Network Festival in Oakland, California in April of 2016. It received an Honorable Mention from the SaMo Indie Fest held in November of 2016 in Santa Monica, California.

The documentary has aired on several public access television stations from California to Maine.
