It’s a landmark day for Cuba, Libre? as it becomes a film festival Official Selection for the 75th time since its release in January of 2016.

The Western Canadian International Film Festival, a first year online festival an awards event that will take place on November 4, 2021 has made Cuba, Libre? an Official Selection, the 74th festival to select the film.

Filmmaker Dick Jordan submitted five additional films to WCIFF and all were made an Official Selection as well.

Yet another film festival has made Cuba, Libre? an “Official Selection.”

The Northwest of NYC Film Festival is the 73rd festival to pick the documentary.

According to the festival’s Website:

“Film Rockland has been working with productions seen in cinemas and streams for the past 3 years and now wants to provide filmmakers the opportunity to be a part of New York’s best and newest film festival!

“The Northwest of NYC Film Festival is a three day event that honors and celebrates the rich history of film and the arts in Rockland County and the greater Hudson Valley region. Rockland has long been New York’s backlot, from the earliest days of moviemaking with Thomas Edison’s 1898 historic “Loading Ice on Cars” filmed at what is now Rockland Lake State Park to most recently Scorcese’s The Irishman. Rockland has become a prime shooting location for many of your favorite productions: The Manchurian Candidate, Orange is the New Black, Sneaky Pete, and Billions.

This year’s festival is scheduled to take place from October 8-10, 2021. Cuba, Libre? will compete for the festival’s “Best Documentary Feature” and the “Audience Documentary Feature” awards.

Cuba, Libre? has just become a film festival “Official Selection” for the 72nd time since the documentary was released in January of 2016.

The festival will be held during the Delco Arts Week on October 8-9, 2021 at The Foundry Church in Wallingford, Pennsylvania.

The festival has been taking place for six years.
