“Cuba, Libre?” Screens at Erie International Film Festival “Virtual Theatre”

If you haven’t been able to attend a screening of Cuba, Libre? at one of the many film festivals that have made it an Official Selection, don’t fret.

From now through Monday, December 23, 2019, you can watch the film online via the Erie International Film Festival’s “Virtual Theatre” by clicking on this link and buying the very modestly priced $1.99 “virtual ticket.”

The Erie International Film Festival has just nominated Cuba, Libre? for its “Best Documentary Feature” Award. The winner in that category, and all of the other “Best of Genre” award winners, will be announced around midnight (EST) on Saturday, December 21st.

This is the 11th time that Cuba, Libre?” has been nominated for a “Best Documentary” feature or “short” award by a film festival. It has previously won such awards four times.

The Erie International Film Festival has just announced that Cuba, Libre? is an Official Selection in the Documentary Feature category.

The festival will take place between December 12th and 21st. “Best of Genre” nominations will be announced on December 14th and those films will have screenings in from of a live audience while films that were not nominated for awards will be shown via the festival’s “Virtual Theater.”

This is the second film festival held this year in Erie, Pennsylvania that has picked the film. In September the Great Lakes International Film Festival selected Cuba, Libre? which did quite well in the voting for the festival’s “Audience Choice Award.” The Erie International Film Festival will hold similar “Audience Award” voting from December 13th through 21st.
