“CUBA, LIBRE?” HEADS TO YET ANOTHER FESTIVAL

Cuba, Libre? has just been made an Official Selection of the Southern Film Festival.

This first year festival is scheduled to take place on August 27-28, 2021 at the Lafayette Society for Performing Arts in LaGrange, Georgia, a little over an hour’s drive southwest from Atlanta.

The Southern Film Festival seeks to provide an exciting creative platform for filmmakers to have their work screened and judged. Our vision is to encourage filmmakers, both professional and beginning, along the film-making process and catapult them into their full potential.

The festival will screen shorts and features, including narratives, documentaries, and more in both showcase and competition settings.

There will be Q&A’s with participating filmmakers which will allow them to fully engage the festival audience, as well as a filmmaking workshop for student filmmakers.

You can follow the festival on Facebook and Instagram.

This marks the 71st time Cuba, Libre? has been picked by a film festival.

“CUBA, LIBRE?” PICKED BY A 70TH FILM FESTIVAL

Cuba, Libre? has just been picked by another film festival.

Here’s what the festival says about itself and its location:

This film series at The Cut is a celebration of the works of every passionate film maker who has ever felt small or unimportant. Canton, Ohio is the 8th largest city in Ohio but spawned a United States President and the NFL organization, and now hosts the Hall of Fame festival every year. Everyone deserves a chance in the spotlight, so show us what you’ve got.

Literally underground, The Cut Cinema is Canton’s Independent Cinema – a place to see films that you can’t find anywhere else.

The Cut Film Series is the 70th festival to select Cuba, Libre?
