Today Cuba, Libre? became a film festival Official Selection for the 76th time when it was chosen by the Italy International Film Festival.

The festival will be held at Rome’s Cinema Teatro Don Bosco on December 13, 2021 where Cuba, Libre? will compete for the festival’s “Best Documentary” award.

It was nominated for “Best Feature Doc” by the Rome Independent Prisma Film Awards in May of 2018.

In February of 2020 the film was a named a finalist for “Best International Documentary” by the Roma Cinema Docs film festival.
