“Cuba, Libre?” Receives Its Seventh Film Award

Cuba, Libre? has received its third “Award of Recognition” from film festivals and film award competitions.

The latest award comes from the Best Shorts Competition.

The documentary previously received similar awards in January of 2018 from the Impact DOCS Awards and earlier this month from the Accolade Global Film Competition.

Cuba, Libre? has won seven awards overall since 2016. It continues to compete for further awards in twenty five additional film festivals.

Cuba, Libre? has just won a Silver Award in the “Documentary Feature” category at the Winter 2018 International Independent Film Awards.

It is the sixth award for the documentary and the fifth since November of 2017.

Cuba, Libre? remains in contention for awards in over twenty other film festivals and award competitions.

Cuba, Libre? will be vying for more recognition after becoming an Official Selection of The IndieFEST Film Awards/

IndieFEST award winners have gone on to win Oscars, Emmys & Tellys.

 

“Cuba, Libre?” Wins Film Festival “Best Documentary Feature” Award

Cuba, Libre? has won this month’s “Best Documentary Feature” award from the Festigious International Film Festival in Los Angeles.

In a message to producer and director, Dick Jordan, the festival staff said:

“Our jury enjoyed reviewing Cuba, Libre. It was well executed and had a good pacing. Kudos to your entire team for this important work.”

It is the fifth award that the 2016 documentary has received in the last two years, and the fourth since November of 2017.

Cuba, Libre? remains a contender in seven additional film festivals and award competitions that will take place between now and early 2019.

“Best Shorts Competition” has made the documentary one its official selections.

Cuba, Libre? has just received an Award of Recognition in the Impact DOCS Award competition.
