The Mindfield Film Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico has made Cuba, Libre? an Official Selection.
That marks the 28th time that the documentary has been chosen by a film festival or award competition since it was released in January of 2016.

Cuba, Libre? has just been named “Best Documentary” by “Canada’s Yes! Let’s Make a Movie Film Festival” to be held this coming weekend in Montreal.
It is the film’s twelfth overall award and third win as “Best Documentary” out of five nominations for such awards.
Earlier this month it won “Best Documentary” award in the “Documentary Feature” category of the Hollywood Sun Awards film competition.
In March of 2018 Cuba, Libre? won “Best Documentary” at the Festigious International Film Festival in Los Angeles. Later that month, it was runner-up in the “Best Documentary Short” category at the Snowdance Film Awards.
“Cuba, Libre?” 23rd “Official Selection”

Cuba, Libre? has just been made an Official Selection of the Bohemian Film Festival which be held on August 17-18, 2018 in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It is the 23rd film festival or award competition that has chosen the documentary since its release in January of 2016.

Cuba, Libre? will help kick-off the festival when it is among the first films to be shown on the opening day, Friday, August 17th.
In addition to screening sixty-two films over a three day period, the festival will host “The World’s Largest Toga Party” in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the 1979 movie, Animal House, which parodied college life in the 1960s and which was filmed in part at Cottage Grove, as well as in Eugene, Oregon, just to the north, home of the University of Oregon.

Cuba, Libre? has just won “Best Documentary” award in the “Documentary Feature” category of the Hollywood Sun Awards film competition.
It is the film’s eleventh overall award and second as “Best Documentary.”
