Here’s the latest movie poster for Cuba, Libre?

Just a few of the many, many film festivals and award competitions that will take place in 2018-2018 that have Cuba, Libre? under consideration for screening and awards.

Just some of the festivals that have recognized Cuba, Libre? by making it an Official Selection or bestowing an award on it.


Following its Official Selection earlier today by “Canada’s Yes! Let’s Make a Movie Film Festival,” Cuba, Libre? was been nominated as “Best Documentary” by the festival.
In March of 2018 Cuba, Libre? won “Best Documentary” at the Festigious International Film Festival in Los Angeles. Later that month, it was runner-up in the “Best Documentary Short” category at the Snowdance Film Awards.
Montreal’s “Canada’s Yes! Let’s Make a Movie Film Festival” has just made Cuba Libre? an Official Selection for this year’s festival. 
It is the 22nd such selection for the film which was released in January 2016.

These are just a few of the many, many festivals and film award competitions in which Cuba, Libre? is under consideration.
Cuba, Libre? has just been made an Official Selection of the Cinema WorldFest Awards.

It is the 21st such film festival or film award competition that has chosen the film since it was released in January of 2016.

Cuba, Libre? has just been selected by a 20th film festival or award competition, and remains under consideration by 40 more that will take place between June of 2018 and March of 2019.
It has won 10 awards so far, and had its U.K. premiere last week at a film festival in the Greater London area.

Cuba, Libre? has just become an Official Selection of the Docs Without Borders Film Festival in the Travel/Culture/Arts/Category.
In its fourth year, the festival is dedicated to documentaries and “Docu-Dramas” and its selections fall into unique documentary categories such as: Environmental, Human Spirit, Social Issues, Wildlife, Docu-drama shorts, and Docu-drama features, and many others.
It is the 19th film festival or award competition that has selected Cuba, Libre? since the film was released in January of 2016.
Cuba, Libre?, which screened earlier today at the Romford Film Festival in Greater London, has been nominated for “Best Documentary.” It is the fourth such nomination that the film has received since its 2016 release, coming hard on the heels of its third “Best Documentary” nomination just four days ago.

Later today the festival will announce which of the nine nominated films won the award.
This was the second year for the festival which screened 120 films in 2018 and hopes to show 200 in 2019.
Cuba, Libre? has just been nominated for Best Documentary Feature by the 2018 Top Indie Film Awards.

It is the third time the film has received a “Best Documentary Feature” nomination. Previous nominations were by the Rome Independent Prisma Awards and the Festigious International Film Festival Los Angeles which gave its “Best Documentary Feature” award to Cuba, Libre?

The 2018 Top Indie Film Awards also has nominated the film in the “Best Editing” category.
